Sugie is currently in her final year of Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. She started work as an AHT at GRS because she loved the idea of working together with clients to help them achieve goals that are important to them. Sugie has worked with a variety of clients with neurological, cardiorespiratory, and musculoskeletal conditions in both a hospital and community setting. She believes education and enjoyment in therapy is crucial to self-empowerment and will work towards achieving this with her clients in the community.
