Speech Pathologist
Bec graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Bec has worked in a variety of settings, across the continuum of care with the adult population; from acute hospital care to community and nursing homes.
Since graduating, Bec has worked clinically in both Australia and England. She has worked in mental health, palliative care, public-sector, hospital; acute, sub-acute (rehab), outpatient clinics, nursing homes and the community.
Bec is LSVT trained, has worked with patients who are dysfluent (stuttering) and is a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Bec has a strong passion for working with adult communication disorders. She is also enjoying working with a mixed caseload of both adult and paediatric clients.
She is passionate about providing evidenced-based Speech Pathology services to clients, with a focus on optimizing their functional needs to improve their quality of life.
Outside of the workplace Bec enjoys making coffee, travelling, camping and gardening.
