Syamilah completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours in Malaysia. Shortly after graduation, she migrated in Melbourne, Australia to be with her family and recently relocated in Sydney. Syamilah is bilingual in English and Bahasa.

Syamilah has experiences in mental health and paediatric caseloads in community-based setting. She is passionate about educating and empowering clients and family members on reaching their goals. Syamilah feels strongly about the role of family dynamic and strength-based approaches in her therapeutic processes.

Syamilah loves working in the multidisciplinary team, where everyone’s ideas and actions attributes to her own. She believes that “If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together”, which is essential in her practice of understanding and delivering client-centred and holistic services.
