Emily Hatzis
Senior Occupational Therapist - Paediatrics
Emily completed her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Since graduating, Emily has worked with both paediatric and adult clients in clinic and community settings.
Emily enjoys working with paediatric clients and has experience working with children of all ages with a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, and Intellectual Impairment. Emily has experience supporting children and families towards a number of goal areas, including school-readiness, feeding concerns, toileting, sensory processing difficulties, and play and social skills, among others. She also has experience working with adults with Intellectual Impairment and mental health diagnoses.
Emily is highly passionate about family-centred care and working within a multidisciplinary team. Her therapy is client-centred and strengths-based to ensure a holistic therapeutic approach, with a clear focus on occupational participation and engagement.
