Laura has completed a Bachelor of Science and Master of Speech Pathology studies at The University of Queensland. She is passionate about providing patient- and family-centred care to support her clients in achieveing their goals. Laura integrates evidence-based practice into practical activities for both children and adults to ensure that therapy sessions relate to the everyday lives of her clients. She enjoys working with people of all ages and presentations but has a particular interest in helping clients develop their social communication skills. Laura’s years of experience working as a disability support worker enable her to develop strong therapeutic relationships with her clients, their families and their support teams. She enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that her client's receive the most appropriate and effective support.

Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys painting, cooking and travelling. She has lived in 5 countries other than Australia!
