Tarryn is a qualified Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience in various fields including working with people with newly acquired spinal injuries, brain injuries or stroke in an acute neuro-rehabilitation unit, orthopedic conditions in a private hospital and community-based programmes. Tarryn is trained in wheelchair seating for all clients, including those with spinal cord injuries, as well as in pressure care management.

Her particular interests center on assisting clients to achieve positive and meaningful outcomes. This involves tailoring therapy to appropriately suit the needs of the client in a holistic and comprehensive manner, to best ensure the wellbeing and to maximise the benefits of interventions. She has a practical, client-centred approach to therapy and interventions, and is passionate about improving clients’ quality of life, empowering clients and improving function.
