Psychologists  provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions to assist to positively managing the impact of disability. We will work with you and your families with a range of psychological and behavioural issues, and help you develop therapeutic strategies to deal with these difficulties. Our GRS psychologists provide assessments and interventions for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. 

Our GRS psychologist can assist in the following areas:

  • Helping with mood and behavioural difficulties, such as depression or anxiety, or other challenging behavioural issues in the home, school or work environment

  • Improving coping skills

  • Assisting with the transition to school and life stages

  • Enhancing social skills

  • Improving relationships with family members


Our GRS Psychologists work with participants and their support systems across the lifespan. We can offer appointments in our clinics or via telehealth, with community appointments available in some locations.

Our GRS Psychologists provide Specialised Psychological Assessments such as:

•    Cognitive Assessments across the lifespan
•    Adaptive Functioning Assessments identifying the impact of disability
•    Diagnostic Assessment using the DSM V
•    Emotional and Behavioural Assessments
•    Pre-NDIS Needs Assessments
•    Positive Behaviour Support Needs Assessments
